How to Make a White Background for Product Photos (in Under a Minute)

A clean white background removes distraction and puts the buyer's eye on the product. It also meets the main-image rules of Amazon, Shopify, and Etsy, so one export works across channels.

Pure white (#FFFFFF) also prints and displays consistently everywhere, from a phone screen to a packaging mockup.

If you have a lightbox or a sweep of white paper, photograph the product on it and you are most of the way there.

The catch: uneven lighting leaves gray gradients, and small objects still need cleanup. A lightbox helps, but it does not guarantee a true #FFFFFF.
